Central Board of Film Certification, in a bizarre incident, has asked Salim Kumar to remove a scene featuring cow from his directorial debut, Daivame Kaithozham K Kumarakanam.
National award-winning actor said that he had to remove a scene from his new Malayalam movie as the CBFC questioned the way cow was portrayed in the scene and instructed him to remove it.
Kumar was talking to the Press on Saturday when he revealed that he removed the scene, which he perceives to be “natural scene”, from the movie before the release on Friday. However, the details of the movie or the grounds on which CBFC trimmed the scene were not disclosed by the actor.
The movie helmed by Salim Kumar also features Jayaram, Anusree, Nedumudi Venu, and Sreenivasan.
