Kochi,Oct09:Nithya Menon who has few interesting project including Vijay starrer Tamil flick Mersal, is taking special care while listening the story line. Recently she signed an upcoming multilingual film Prana, which will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
The sources say that upcoming film Prana is said to be the story about injustice and intolerance, in which Nithya will be seen playing writer who focuses on social issues.. The actress is very excited and she says that her character in the movie will give her scope to perform varied emotions that she could not till date.
It is being helmed by VK Prakash. The script of the film is penned down by Rajesh Jayaraman who has vast experience of working in different film industries.
The movie has already gone on the floor. P.C. Sreeram, who is considered the guru of Indian Cinematography, will crank the camera and Prana will be P.C. Sreeram’s come back in Malayalam after a hiatus. Oscar winner, Resul Pookutty will manage the sound whereas renowned Jazz exponent will handle the music department.
The upcoming venture will be jointly produced by Anita Raj and Praveen S. Kumar under the banner of Raj Productions and Real Studios. Prana- a thriller movie, is set in the backdrop of a beautiful hill station in South India.
