The 49 year old gave an emotional speech to pay tribute to the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival attack.
Celine Dion questioned whether her performance was too soon, two days after the massacre which took 59 lives and injured more than 500.
“I hope that you’re doing OK…before we start the show, I need to talk to your for a moment..I never start the show like this but tonight is very different.,” she told the audience.
“For me it’s, ‘Can I still do my show?’ Should I still do my show only two days after the nightmare?'” she questioned.
“The reason I decided to do this show so soon is more than just singing. It is to show love and support.”
She then revealed that all the proceeds from the concert would be going to the families of those affected by the horrific attack.
The Canadian singer has held a residency at Caesars Palace in Vegas since 2003.
Celine’s performance comes after country singer Jason Aldean cancelled his upcoming concerts due to the shocking events.
