After her divorce from Director AL Vijay, South actress Amala Paul has been taking on challenging and daring roles as she now has a ‘no-holds-barred’ approach in choosing her on-screen roles.
Amala plays a cheating wife in her upcoming Susi Ganesan-directed movie Thiruttu Payale 2.
Sequel to the sizzling 2006 film Thiruttu Payale which starred Jeevan, Malavika and Sonia Aggarwal in the lead, the film has Bobby Simha and Amala Paul coming together for the first time as an on-screen pair. National award-winning actor Bobby Simha recently went on record saying that Thiruttu Payale 2 could very well be labeled as his ‘comeback’ film in Kollywood.
The audio of the film was released a few days back. Prasanna, Sanam Shetty, Vivek and ‘Robo’ Shankar from the rest of the cast in the film which has music by Vidyasagar and is cinematographed by P. Chellathurai. Penned and directed by Susi Ganesan, Kalpathi Agoram has produced the film.
Amala has reportedly ‘sizzled’ in the film and has gone ‘strong’ on glamour quotient in a role which has her cheating her husband and indulging in an extra-marital affair.
Prasanna plays the husband while Bobby plays the ‘other man’ in Amala’s life in the film’s script.
