Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi has been unstoppable at the box-office of Tollywood for over three decades. It was after he decided to make his move into politics; his film career came to an end. Though things have been smooth during his initial days, Megastar made no impact in politics across the Telugu speaking states. The actor turned politician finally merged his party into Congress after which has been awarded the Union Central Minister by the Congress government. After Congress got defeated badly in the Telugu speaking states, Chiranjeevi turned idle in politics and he made his reentry back into movies.
There have been several rumors floating that Chiranjeevi will move to BJP, however, Megastar stayed tight-lipped about the speculations. For the first time in the recent times, the actor turned politician penned a letter to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandra Babu Naidu about the evacuation of the scavenger’s colony in Tirupathi 18th ward. Chiranjeevi called it totally unfair for evacuating the colony which is located in the middle of the city. He revealed that the weaker sections are targeted and they have been residing in the colony from a long time.
He accused the AP Government that they are in no mood to talk to them and they are not concerned about the weaker sections of the society. Megastar accused that the 2.34 acres land will be given to private persons and he revealed that he took many development activities in the scavenger’s colony during his term when he was the MLA. The AP Government is yet to respond on this and Chiranjeevi is celebrating his birthday today. The actor will be shooting for his next movie Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy from next month which will be directed by Surendar Reddy. Ramcharan will bankroll the project on Konidela Production Company banner.
