Bengaluru, Aug 23: Sandalwood actress and former MP representing Congress, Ramya, who seems to possess the uncanny knack to get involved with one controversy or the other, found herself in a new controversy by tweeting that she would reward Rs 25,000 to anyone who shows her the photograph of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in the company of flood-affected people of Assam, Gujarat, or Bihar states. Her only condition is that the photograph should not have been photoshopped.
Ramya is the head of social media cell of All India Congress Committee and handles twitter and Facebook.
“Can’t find a single image of PrimeMinister Modi with flood affected victims in Assam, Gujarat or Bihar. Too scared to get lynched you think?” she tweeted.
She followed it up with another tweet: “Ok guys, I’ll give you 25,000 rupees if you find me a picture of Modi with flood affected victims in Assam, Gujarat or Bihar. No photoshop.”
Her tweet has angered die hard fans of Modi, and some have reacted to her tweet, while some more have tried to lampoon her.
One of the fans of Modi, Madhusudan Reddy, says in his tweet that Modi who has been workingwith sincerity and devotion towards his motherland, does not need certificate from Ramya. He adds that the people of the country know what Modi is.
Another person, Teertha, has asked Ramya to post a photo of herself getting humiliated at the hands of farmers of Mandya after trying to hold meeting with them.
One more tweet from Ravikumar Kuri, asks Ramya not to worry, duly assuring her that the Prime Minister has been closely following everything.
