Bollywood star Aamir Khan has urged people to contribute towards the Bihar chief minister’s relief fund considering the devastating floods, on Monday. The actor was present at a promotional event for his next film “Secret Superstar”.
“See, we have no hand in natural calamities. But what we can do is we can help and contribute for the betterment of the situation. I request all the citizens of our country … please contribute to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of Bihar so that our government also can do their work for the betterment of the situation,” Aamir said.
Well, this is not the first time that the superstar has urged all his fans and followers to help the people in need. Earlier, he urged his fans to aid the flood-affected states of Gujarat and Assam. Khan took to Twitter to share a video message and urged people to donate to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for both the states.
“A few areas of Assam and Gujarat have faced terrible floods. People staying there are suffering. There has been loss of lives and a lot of damage. We are helpless before nature… But we are not helpless in helping our brothers and sisters there,” Aamir had said.
“So, I appeal to all of you to help the people in Assam and Gujarat. Also in donate in Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of both the states. I will also do this you also support me. Thank you. Jai Hind,” the 51-year-old had added.
