Now Casting couch in the Movie industry is the talk of the town.

A few days back we have reported that  3 crew members of a Mollywood Movie invited her for sex to give a movie chance. As soon as she opened about that, now another actress too has raised her voice.

It is this time Shruti Hariharan is the actress who comes out with casting couch allegations. Shruti Hariharan debuted in the 2012 Malayalam Movie  “Cinema Company” and got noticed after working in the Kannada film ‘Lucia’ and ‘Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu’.

Shruti recently acted with Arjun in ‘Nibunan’ directed by Arun Vaidyanathan and also a known face in Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada industry movies.

Recently she attended a Kannada TV show named ‘Super Talk Time’ aired in Colours Kannada. In that show, she confessed that casting couch does exist in the movie industry.

Shruti said, “It’s true that actresses are considered as sexual objects in the film industry. Casting couch does exist. It is a crime to invite a woman for sex. But no one gives a damn about it. So such things happen very easily. An actress should be selected based on her talent and not on something else! Yes, few producers and directors have invited me for sex to give a chance. However, I denied their request.”
