 Chennai,August10:A BA  graduate in Functional English from Vimala college in Thrissur, Oviya Nelson is the qunitessential next door girl and one who has captured the obsession of being the masses darling in Tamizh Nadu.

As a previous contestant who exited the show she has her hands full with offers from  cine quarters   all over India.

Oviya shocked all, particularly her devoted fans, during  the August 5 episode of Bigg Boss Tamil, when she chose to quit the show. Since her entry into the house, she has captured the  hearts of Tamil audience, thanks to her honesty, straightforward behaviour and the ability to take a stand on any issue in the house.

Cornered and isolated consistently  by the inmates, even by TV actor Aarav, whom she fancied ,she has chosen to maintain her silence .

 The fans of the actor, called Oviya’s army, have threatened to boycott the TV show if she doesn’t return to the show.

In the meanwhile, given her newfound popularity, producers have been making a beeline to sign her on. The actor will appear next in Silukkuvarupatti Singam, which also stars Vishnu Vishal and Regina Cassandra.

She has done an extended cameo in the film. Oviya is already part of Rajadurai’s Oviyava Vitta Yaaru.

She rose to fame with the 2010 comedy film Kalavani.In 2012 she was seen in Pandiraj’s Marina and Sundar C’s Kalakalappu.

Vijay TV is literally on its feet, to get the TRP boosting  actor back on the show. Oviya and  channel are negotiating  a new remuneration plan and conditions for her re-entry. The channel might agree to her demands as the TRP ratings of the show have reportedly taken a beating following her exit last weekend, the report said.

Quoting unconfirmed reports, the web site mentioned that the actor was being paid Rs 2.5 lakhs per day during her stay in the house. Given her immense popularity, she might be given  an unrefutable or exorbitant offer
