Kochi: ‘Clint’ the Malayalam movie is a biopic on Edmund Thomas Clint who died at the age of seven due to kidney failure.

But the young boy left about 25000 excellent paintings drawn by him within his lifespan of time.

Harikumar is directing the movie in which Unni Mukundan and Rima Kalluingal plays the parents of Clint.

Master Alok portrays the role of the prodigy of Kerala. Another specialty of the movie is that veteran musician Ilayaraja composes music for the movie.

And recently the song titled Olathin Melathaal from the movie was out. The song, just like always has Ilayaraja magic, and has the sweetest rendition by Shreya Ghoshal.

Featuring actress Rima Kallingal and master Alok in most parts and Unni Mukundan in one or two scenes in the song, it is more about the kind of relationship the mother and son shared with each other, and somehow, your mind is filled with a sense of empathy, loss and emptiness for the characters.

The way the song is shot is also different, as the characters are shown through the world of Clint’s paintings, which then takes on the form of real life images.
