Chennai: Mollywood actress Malavika Menon, who started her acting career as the sister of Sasikumar in Bramman, later got promoted as a heroine.

Malavika’s film Vizha earned her appreciation and the actress is back to Kollywood after a brief break.

Malavika Menon has been roped in for a powerful role in Aadhirajan’s next, titled ‘Aruva Sandai’, based on Kabbadi. Raja, a state level Kabbadi player will be making his debut as a hero.

Speaking about her role, Malavika Menon says, “I was floored when director Aadhirajan narrated the story. I was moved to tears listening to the climax. It is a power-packed role, which will definitely set a strong foundation for my future flicks. I also have an intro song.”

Apparently, Aruva Sandai is a romantic film set in a backdrop of honour killing, and is based on real-life incidents.
