Hyderabad: It is a sad news for Mahesh Babu’s fans as the release of his upcoming film ‘Spyder’ has been postponed.
The younger son of veteran Telugu actor Krishna, Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movie ‘Spyder’ is an action thriller entertainer movie and it is in the final stages of shoot.
The producers of the movie set initial release date was on June 23rd, but now, it was shifted to September.
According to sources, “AR Murugadoss, the director of the movie, wants more time for the post-production and needs at least 2 months for it. The spy-thriller requires some more graphic work, which takes time, so they have decided to push it further.”
The Okkadu star, Mahesh Babu, too isn’t putting any pressure on the producers or the director to complete the film within June. “Maheshbabu is not in a hurry and has given the director a free hand,” added the source. Meanwhile, director AR Murugadoss, who is busy with the film, is expected to wrap up the shooting late next month.
The film, which has been in the making since last year, is one of the most expected movies of the year as it has Mahesh Babu in the lead role.
Rakul Preet Singh is the female lead in the movie. SJ Suryah will be seen in the role of an antagonist in the film.
The first look of the film, along with its title, was revealed just a few days ago and it went viral. Meanwhile, the teaser of the film is expected to be unveiled on May 31, on the occasion of Superstar Krishna’s birthday.
