Mumbai: After successful completion of Bigg Boss 10, Lopamudra Raut is now participating in Colors’ upcoming reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi — Pain in Spain. Lopamudra was one of the strongest contenders on the reality show.
Lopamudra Raut, who had participated in Miss India 2013, says that she wanted to challenge herself through the show. “I wanted to push my limits, see what I could do, and what I am good at through Khatron…I will be lying if I say that I am not scared. But I want to get away from my fears,” she said during the launch of the show.
The reality show hosted by director Rohit Shetty will feature celebrities like Geeta Phogat, Manveer Gurjar, Shibani Dandekar, Monica Dogra, Nia Sharma, Ravi Dubey, Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani.
In fact, Lopa is most excited about being hosted by Rohit. “I am a huge Rohit sir fan and his films. He is loved by many for his movies. I am so happy that he is hosting us and I am looking forward to learning from him.”
This is not her first association with Colors and she says that it has played an important role in her career. “I began my career with the channel and therefore it’s been very important to me. This is my third show with the channel. In fact, I have signed a contract with the channel.”
When asked about whom she considers her toughest competitor, she replies, “Honestly, I can’t judge now. Each of them is a strong personality and we are yet to start shooting so it’s better not to judge anyone. Even I can be in the top 3, you never know.”
Lopa says that she has already started mentally preparing for the show. “More than physical, mental preparation is very important. While performing the stunts, I want to see how much physical strength I have. I just want to give my best,” says the model who hasn’t watched the previous seasons of the show.
When asked about her biggest fear, the model says that she is scared of water. “If I am given a stunt in the water, I wouldn’t know how to handle it,” she says.
Coming to Bigg Boss 10, Lopamudra says that post the show, her life has changed in a positive manner. “I had taken a good decision to go on the show because it’s been beneficial. I have been getting offers for movies, daily soaps, and music videos. I don’t want to choose just any project which will not do any justice to me. I don’t want to disappear after doing one film. That’s why I need to plan my career,” she says.
