Bengaluru: Ramya the Actress-turned-politician in Karnataka, who had stayed away from social networking websites for over last four months, is back on twitter.
Since the sedition case against Ramya, the most Googled Celebrity in 2014, was dismissed by the local court, the actress has remained active on twitter.
There were speculations that the actress might join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) party as her mentor S M Krishna had joined the same from Congress, but the actress will remain in Congress as she has been tweeting against the policies of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) party through her posts on twitter.
The last post that Ramya shared with her followers before taking a break was on December 5th, when Tamil Nadu’s former chief minister J Jayalalithaa died. After that Ramya has kept herself out of Twitter and Facebook.
Earlier, the 34-year old had mentioned Congress party’s name and had ‘former MP from Mandya consistency’ as her status in social media, had not updated the same this time.
